Floyd Mayweather's Dad Says 'I'll Beat The Shit Out Of McGregor'

Category: Sports
"He don't want that fight. Floyd's gonna turn him upside down."

A mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor has been rumored for months, though it remains to be seen if the two sides can strike a deal that satisfies both parties involved.

UFC owner Dana White has estimated enormous paydays for both, with Floyd potentially pulling in over $100 million and Conor possibly taking home $75 million for a one night boxing extravaganza.

Of course, Conor will be the underdog stepping in the boxing ring against an undefeated champion, even if the 40-year old Mayweather has been retired since 2015. Mayweather certainly doesn't lack any confidence, and neither does his father who thinks even he, at 64 years old, could "beat the shit out of McGregor."

According to Fight Hype, Floyd Sr. said this about McGregor and the much anticipated boxing match against his son,

"He don't want that fight. Floyd's gonna turn him upside down," said Mayweather Sr.

"That be like you and Floyd in the ring! [Laughs] He looks bad in the ring. That's a done deal right there. They've already showed the best that he's got. He ain't nothing but talk! I told them people on the TV already, forget about Floyd. Let's throw Floyd to the side. Here I am, I'm a 64-year-old man and I'll beat your ass. I'll beat the s--t out of McGregor! Anytime he wants it, let's go."
